MEXICAN TRADE EXCHANGE
Company was founded in 1985 in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz by a family from 4 generations of entrepreneurs specialized in agricultural products.
Due to the growth and improvement needs of our commercialization processes, as well as to establish direct contact with the producers, IMCO branches were opened in the states of Chiapas, Tabasco and Veracruz.
NURSERY «SANTA HELENA»
IN TABASCO
Our cocoa nursery "Santa Helena" is located in the Olmec and Maya region known as "Plan Chontalpa", the location in the cocoa bean harvesting area is very important thanks to the qualities of the terrain and the climate, it also allows us to improve the quality of the cocoa and we minimize the transport times of the freshly cut cocoa to our plant.
We produce around 500’000 plants per year in a nursery and we serve more than 2’700 farmers, thanks to our sustainability program, we also created a special program to help cocoa producers to fight Moniliasis.
FERMENTER
«SANTA HELENA» IN TABASCO
We are the first private company to invest in a cocoa fermenting plant in Mexico, in order to produce quality beans PREMIUM.
Through our innovation in the "Santa Helena" plant, we implemented the use of sun drying tunnels, thus drying the grains naturally in the sun (instead of artificially using gas), improving their natural qualities. This process takes between 4 and 5 days and allows the acidity to be removed and gives it an improved flavor.
PROCESSING PLANT IN
EMILIANO ZAPATA, VERACRUZ
We have a processing plant for sustainable consumption, located in the municipality of Emiliano Zapata, in a techno-industrial park near the port of Veracruz, one of the strategic seaports in the country's exports and imports.
Which is in charge of the cocoa processing and the production of our derivatives through high quality industrial processes.
We also have a production capacity of 15,000 tons of cocoa per year and 1,500 tons of storage.

We have CERTIMEX certification to offer organic products, with the necessary accreditations for our product to be accepted in the United States, the European Union and Japan.

Kosher supervision is the audit carried out in our production plant by the supervisor of the kosher certifier to guarantee that our production lines comply with said standards and quality specifications required in food products.
